Sylvia said she was honoured to win the Thumbs Up award for a second time, and thanked Ainslie Seccombe for the nomination, as well as everyone who voted for her.
"It is a great honour, however this is my second win and I feel I should nominate someone and set the ball rolling with that person," she said.
"For all the people who voted for me, you are wonderful and thoughtful and it is great to know what I am doing (which I love) is appreciated to such an extent, thanks to all.
"It is a joy to come to work every day, sadness and celebrations are shared and there are lots of laughs as well. Thanks so much to Tanya for her initiative and dedication to Thumbs Up."
Ainslie said she nominated Sylvia because she has been in business in Moree "for a very long time and works tirelessly for the community and she is always so helpful to all her customers".
