A motorcycle rider was rescued from floodwaters by the SES on Thursday, as two other residents were cut off in a flash flood.

An SES spokesperson said a man was travelling by motorcycle on the Newell Highway near Bellata when he was swept from his vehicle at about 5.30am on Thursday.
He was carried downstream by floodwaters before being rescued by SES about 7.30am, the spokesperson said.
Later the same day flash flooding threatened a home in Terry Hie Hie, near Moree.
Two people were left stranded in the house by the rising waters at about 3pm Thursday afternoon.
The duo were taken to the Moree Community Services Building by Moree and Bingara SES, a spokesperson said.
Low-lying areas downstream of Moree may be inundated in continued flood activity in the next few days, the BoM warned.
Flood waters peaked at Gravesend on Thursday evening before falling below minor on Friday morning.
The flood peak is approaching Pallamallawa with a minor flood peak expected mid-morning.
Flood waters are moving through Yarraman Bridge this morning, with a peak expected in the evening, and flood waters should peak at Moree early Saturday morning near the minor flood level.
