Police have seized a fourth motorbike as part of their crackdown on the unlawful use of motorbikes in Moree.

At about 7.30am on Wednesday, officers attached to the New England Police District executed a search warrant at an Anne Street address in Moree.
A blue Yamaha motorbike was seized as a result of the search, as police believe it has been involved in a number of traffic offences.
Police anticipate they will be commencing proceedings against a 17-year-old male who they believe has been involved in these traffic offences.

This is the fourth motorbike seized over the past few weeks as part of an operation targeting the use of unregistered motorbikes in the region.
Moree Police officer-in-charge Inspector Martin Burke expects more bikes will be seized as police respond to a spike in the unlawful use of motorbikes around Moree.
"This is a message for the community - if you are going to continue to use motorbikes unlawfully on the road, it will be seized," he said.
Inspector Burke said police have the power to seize unregistered bikes that are ridden on public roads.
