A man who had been staying at a motel in Moree will face court in October after he was charged with numerous property offences last week.

At 8.40am on Thursday, August 27, Moree police stopped a 43-year-old man in Alice Street, Moree.
The man was searched and subsequently arrested in relation to a number of property offences.

Later that day, police executed a search warrant at a motel in Moree, where officers will allege the man had been staying.
Police seized a number of items during the search, including clothing, electronic equipment and a firearm part.
The man was charged with break, enter and steal; goods in custody; use/supply stolen firearm part; enter vehicle without consent of owner; lacerny; and trespass.
He has been refused bail to appear at Moree Local Court on October 19, 2020.
