A Moree man has been charged with dangerous driving offences after hitting a teenager with his vehicle during an incident in Moree in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Moree police will allege that a 24-year-old man drove his Toyota Hilux recklessly through Julia Place, Moree at about 2.30am on Sunday, March 22.
As a result of the man's dangerous driving, a 17-year-old boy was alleged to have been struck by the vehicle.

The teenager was taken by ambulance to Moree Hospital where he was treated for lower back and abdominal pain.
He was released from hospital later that morning.
The 24-year-old man was also taken from the scene by ambulance and was later charged with driving recklessly, furiously or in a manner dangerous and knowingly drive a vehicle in a manner which menaces another.
He was refused bail to appear at Moree Local Court on Monday, where he was granted strict conditional bail to appear at Moree Local Court on May 4.
