The annual Moree Veterans Week of Golf, which is usually around April each year, has been canclled for 2020.
Last year's event brought around 200 golfers to Moree, but unfortunately this year will not be able to go ahead.
Live bands, Friday night raffles and members draws have been suspended at the golf club until further notice. Easter raffles have also been cancelled.
The club has increased cleaning procedures in an effort to continue to provide a safe environment for all visitors, and is also installing a number of hand sanitising stations throughout the venue.
The club is asking all members and guests to adhere to current health alerts and warnings. If anyone is feeling unwell or showing flue-like symptoms, they are asked to avoid visiting the club.
Additionally, if anyone has returned home from overseas, they are asked to remain home in self isolation for 14 days before visiting, as per government requirements.
Moree Golf Club is continuing to monitor the situation. To stay up to date, follow the Moree Golf Club Facebook page.
