The veterans tour has been going for around 19 years, with some of the participants being a part of it for the entire time.
The week has begun with a single stableford competition, a golf format that is won by scoring the most points, beginning with one point for a bogey, two for par and so on.
On Thursday, the Australian Veterans Golf Association competition will be held before the dinner and presentation that evening.
The week will be capped off with a mixed four-ball competition on Friday.

There are a few locals participating in the week but the focus is attracting as many visitors as possible.
Moree Veterans Golf Group president Guy Roberts was pleased with the amount of people participating in the week.
"About 200 which is down a little bit, but considering the drought it's pretty good," he said.
Jack Wilson travelled down from Coolangatta to play the Moree course for the first time.
"It's a really good course, in good condition," he said.
"It's really well laid out but provides a really challenging game which is what you want."
Brisbane's Roger McDaniel was also complimentary of the Moree golf course and its condition.
"It's a hard course to work out for your first time, but it's really good," he said.
