"I enjoy the camaraderie of a country town. Moree is small enough for most of the community to know one another. Locally, wherever you need to go, its only 5 minutes away which is convenient".
Tony was nominated by Tina who said "he is a lovely person and him like any other person that crosses his path has bad days, but for Tony, you wouldn't think so, as he always provides service with a smile and is polite, helpful and talkative and this world could do with some more people like him."
"Thank you Tina, this was totally unexpected. I appreciate the thoughtful gesture," Tony said in response to Tina.
"I would like to congratulate the other nominees. I feel very privileged to have been chosen and it's nice to receive positive feedback.
"I just try to treat people the way I would like to be treated and if I can help someone I will. That's just the Aussie way and the way I was raised.
"I am also very grateful to all the people that have taken time to vote, write wonderful comments on the Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook page and to those who have approached me in person, I am very humbled by it all"
