Moree Plains Shire Council is currently calling for stall holders to participate in the annual Christmas at Twilight event next month.

Set for Friday, December 13, Christmas at Twilight is a family-friendly event celebrating the festive season with carols, stalls, rides and a fireworks display. Once again, a very important guest from the North Pole is also expected, should his busy pre-Christmas schedule permit.

Moree mayor Katrina Humphries said the annual event is a great opportunity to share in the Christmas cheer.

"It has been a very tough 2019 for many in our community so this free event is just what we all need to lift our spirits.

"Christmas at Twilight is a much loved event on the community calendar and the Christmas stalls and activities will add to the charm of this festive occasion."

Local businesses, community groups and general stall holders are all invited to take part in the event, which will be held at Ron Harborne Oval from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, December 13.

Stall holders must submit a participation form by Monday, December 2 to reserve a spot.
