SHAE Academy hosts Cultural Family Fun Day for NAIDOC Week celebrations

The NAIDOC Week celebrations continued on Thursday with the SHAE Academy hosting its Cultural Family Fun Day.

There was plenty of fun for the whole family, with a big crowd turning up for what was a fantastic day.

A Welcome to Country and dances from the UPstART Aboriginal dance group kicked proceedings off before children took advantage of all the activities on offer.

There were jumping castles, face painting, giant blow up games, a petting zoo, an arts corner plus much more.

There was also a free barbecue running as well as popcorn and fairy floss available.

There is plenty more NAIDOC Week action to come with a poker tournament on Saturday at the Moree Services Club and a junior kids disco next Tuesday night.

SHAE Academy will also be hosting a sports day next Thursday with novelty races, touch football, soccer and much more.
