About 40 people attended the bingo event on Friday, April 5, held as part of 2019 Moree Seniors Festival.
In addition to the games of bingo - which saw everyone in serious concentration - the seniors enjoyed a morning tea, catered by Moree Care, followed by lunch which was provided by Moree Secondary College's hospitality class.
It has been a big week for Moree's seniors, who've enjoyed mixed triples bowls, a church service at Fairview Retirement Village, bingo at Pius X Aboriginal Corporation, frame and cupcake decorating at Moree Community Library, and the annual luncheon at Moree Services Club during which Aunty Mary Swan was named Moree's 2019 Senior Citizen of the Year.
The week will wrap up on Saturday with a barbecue lunch by Moree Lions Club at the home of Rob and Lorraine Bartel, "Illabo" 365 Gwydirfield Road, from 11am, with entertainment by Moree Ukulele Band.
