Although she wasn’t aware of the monthly award due to not being on Facebook, Madonna said she felt privileged to receive something like this.
For those who would like to support or donate to the charities that Madonna volunteers for, go to www.guidedogs.com.au, call 02 9412 9309 or Madonna personally, or purchase tickets in the local Mother’s Day and Christmas raffles. To support the Renal Unit, people can buy tickets in the meat raffles held at Moree Services Club every Wednesday night or contact Will Sabine or Lola Shearer.
Nominations are now open for the September award on the closed Moree Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook group.
