Instead of walking through the aisles of Coles on your way home from work or after weekend sport with the kids, Click and Collect makes shopping convenient and more time efficient for customers.
“Click and Collect is a way for customers to complete their shopping,” Coles Moree store manager Ryan Lumb said.
“They can go online, select their products (including tobacco and liquor) and the system generates an order. We then organise payment and the customer calls when they’re in the car out the front.
“We even put the groceries in the boot, so they don’t even have to get out of the car.”

Although the service has only been live in Moree for a week, online manager Merri-Ann Storey said it’s been “fantastic”, with the team completing about five to six orders a day.
“It's been really, really positive,” Mr Lumb added.
“We weren't sure how it would go but we've been inundated with orders in the last week.
“We've been rushed off our feet. We're chasing our tails at the moment, and are looking for good people to join the team.”
This new service is beneficial to many people and businesses within the local community as it not only makes grocery shopping easier but also generates new employment opportunities.
Mr Lumb said Click and Collect will create an additional two to three full-time positions in-store.
“This is something that's really putting jobs back into the store,” he said.
“It's quite labour intensive. We need help and jobs are something people need.”
Mr Lumb said the biggest advantage of Click and Collect is the convenience, particularly for mothers with small children who are looking for a stress-free shopping experience, local businesses with large orders, and even “health fanatics” who do a lot of meal prepping.
“It takes no time to do an order online; we’ve had a lot of happy customers,” Mr Lumb said.
“With the full range online and specials in store reflected on the website it’s just about making the experience as seamless as possible for customers.”
Moree mum Leah Hancock is already a fan of the new service.
“I love it,” she said.
“For families with weekend sport, it’s one less thing to worry about – I just have to go pick it up.
“It’s the best thing.”
Moree is one of the last stores to go live and by the end of July, all Coles stores nationwide will have this service available.
