Three people, including two teenagers, are expected to be charged with a raft of offences following a police pursuit in Moree on Wednesday morning.

Officers attached to New England Police District and Traffic and Highway Patrol attempted to stop a stolen vehicle on the Gwydir Highway, east of Moree at about 7.15am on Wednesday morning.
The vehicle was reportedly stolen from a home in Moree earlier in the morning.

The driver of the stolen vehicle was directed to stop, however police will allege the driver instead accelerated and a pursuit was initiated.
Road spikes were successfully deployed, however the vehicle continued travelling west towards Moree before it was abandoned in bushland off Oak Street.
Three offenders, a 20-year-old male, 16-year-old female and 14-year-old male, were arrested a short distance away.
The trio remain in custody and are expected to be charged with a raft of offences relating to break and enter, theft of a motor vehicle and traffic.
