Police are appealing for information after a man was injured and his truck was damaged in a rock-throwing incident at Boggabilla on Sunday morning.

At about 5.45am on Sunday, February 2, a man was driving a B-double prime mover north on the Newell Highway at Boggabilla, when an object, believed to be a rock, was thrown at the windscreen as he approached the intersection of McCosker street.
The 26-year-old truck driver sustained injuries to his face/eyes in the attack.

He continued travelling to the Goondiwindi service station where he sought help for his injuries and was taken to Goondiwindi Hospital for treatment.
Officers attached to the New England Police District have commenced an investigation into the incident.
Police would like to speak with anyone who may have seen a dual cab Toyota Hilux in the area.
As inquiries continue, any witnesses or any motorists who may have been in the area and have dash cam vision, are urged to come forward.
