For the past six weeks, the store has been taking donations of toys to distribute to children throughout the district through Moree Drought Muster's Christmas run and on the weekend the staff held a barbecue in the car park to raise money for the cause.
They managed to raise $800 which has been used to purchase additional toys for the toy drive.
All up, they've collected more than $1000 worth of toys which will soon be delivered to local children of all ages.
"It's just to bring some cheer to the kids going through drought and hard times," Coles Moree store manager Fran Moore said.
People can still drop off presents this week. Wrapped presents should be labelled with the gender and age appropriateness of the gift.
