Police are currently investigating a trespassing incident, which has resulted in the loss of 2000 litres of water on an Ashley property.
According to police, unknown persons entered a rural property on Rosedale Road, Ashley sometime between the hours of 4pm on Thursday, September 5 and 11am on Saturday, September 7.
Officers attached to New England Police District received reports that 2000L of water had been lost as a result of valves on the victim's water trailer being opened, and a storage container had been broken into during this time.
Two batteries were also reported stolen.
Police attended the property and have commenced inquiries into the incident.
