The Service NSW Centre, located at 80 Balo Street, was officially opened by Member for Northern Tablelands Adam Marshall on Monday, August 26.
"This is the fourth Service NSW centre opening in the Northern Tablelands electorate," Mr Marshall said at the opening.
"We've had Armidale, Inverell and Glen Innes, and now it's Moree's turn and I know this facility is going to be just as successful, if not more so, than the others.
"I know the Moree community will absolutely love it. It's much more accessible, located right in the CBD. The layout is very different from the old registry.
"This is very exciting, people will literally love it. I think this is brilliant for Moree."

Service Centres regional director Jen McNeill was in Moree for the official opening and said it's the 104th Service NSW Centre to be opened in the state.
"It's exciting for the local community to know they have access to over 1000 government agencies, such as the Cost of Living service which has over 70 rebates available," she said.
"It'll be open 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday in the heart of Moree."
The new centre has six full-time staff who will be available to help residents with a range of services such as applying for and renewing a driver's licence, vehicle registration, and accessing birth certificates and seniors' cards.
Some of the NSW government agencies available through the centre include Roads and Maritime Services, Births Deaths and Marriages, Fair Trading, and Cost of Living.
Mr Marshall recommends Moree residents make an appointment to chat with a Cost of Living specialist about the different subsidies and rebates the government offers around the cost of living.
"Residents have the opportunity to save a bunch here or there on various bills," he said.
"They can actually make an appointment with a Cost of Living specialist who can save them hundreds of thousands of dollars. It has saved people in Armidale half a million dollars and Inverell residents have saved $300,000. I hope Moree people can also take advantage of those savings."
The doors to the Service NSW Centre first opened to customers on Friday, August 16, and already it's been busy, and popular.
"In the first week we had over 300 people through the door," Moree Service NSW Centre coordinator Melissa Bull said.
"Staff have received some good comments about the service from customers. They like how open it is."
