The current procurement and local supplier preference policies have been combined into the one draft policy, following extensive reviews of the policy which was requested by council.
The policies were extensively workshopped and recommendations from this workshop have been incorporated into the draft policy.
The procurement policy is designed to ensure that all expenditure of public funds on the purchase of goods and services results in the best possible value for Moree Plains Shire Council and the community.
