The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was called to Moree Hospital on Friday afternoon to transfer the two-year-old boy to John Hunter Children’s Hospital in Newcastle.
On Sunday, the rescue chopper was called to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital to transport a 14-year-old girl to John Hunter Hospital for specialist treatment. The teenager was suffering from a medical condition.
Last Friday, January 11, a 46-year-old man was airlifted from a property at Barraba to Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital suffering head and shoulder injuries sustained in a ladder fall.
