They wanted to spend money in the local communities to do their little bit to help the economies in the towns along the way. They had a flying visit, only spending one night in each town. Whilst in Moree they stayed in a local motel and visited the Moree Spa Baths Complex and also the RSL Club to watch the Melbourne Cup. After their visit here in Moree, they travelled on through Lightning Ridge on their way to Warren.
