Special guest for the night was Folau Paul Talbot, a former NBSA graduate who spoke of his own journey.
He encouraged the students to believe in themselves, have a good support network and to always follow their dreams.
The presentation saw four students receive major awards.
Brett Williams and Suzanna Bulai were both awarded a certificate for ‘Commitment and Desire to Improve’, Dylan Baker awarded a certificate for ‘Excellence in Vocational Education’ and, Jasmine McMillan awarded a certificate for ‘Academic Success’.
NBSA head teacher, Michele Riddell said they were proud of all the students.
“It has not always been easy for them to commit to the deadlines and produce the volume of work required to course complete while addressing their role in their own community,” Ms Riddell said.
“We have watched young children become stunning, resilient young adults and we can only wish for a happy and successful future for each and every one,” she added.
