NAIDOC Week activities will be running throughout the holidays, and includes plenty of events for children.
In addition to NAIDOC Week, Moree PCYC will be running a school holiday program from July 9 to 20 for children aged five to 13. Cost is $20 per day, which includes plenty of fun active and non-active games and activities from 9am to 3.30pm. Children are asked to bring their own lunch and recess. Moree PCYC will also be holding a rugby union camp for children aged five to 12 on Tuesday, July 10 and Wednesday, July 11 from 10am to 1pm. Cost is $35 with fruit provided and a $2 sausage sizzle. Call 6752 3741 to book.

Aussie Kids of Moree will once again be running their vacation care program for school-aged children aged five to 12. The program will run from Monday to Friday throughout the two weeks of the holidays. Call 6752 7677 for more information.
Moree Salvation Army will be holding their free Fun in the Sun school holiday program for children aged five to 13 in the second week of the holidays – from Monday, July 16 to Thursday, July 19. Pacific Hills Christian School students and staff are coming from Sydney to run the program with The Salvation Army. There will be games, sport, art and craft, music, dance, cooking and more from 9am to 1.30pm, with breakfast, morning tea and lunch provided. Moree Community Library will be having a school holiday movie screening of Coco at 10am on Friday, July 13. BYO cushions and snacks, parental supervision is required.
The library will also be having a lego competition from 10am to 11am on Monday, July 16, with prizes for the best creations. There will also be a Moonhackathon on Friday, July 20 from 10am to 11am, which will attempt to break the record for the most kids coding at one time. Bookings essential, or BYO computer.
