Inverell passengers need to wait until 1.10 am for the Brisbane flight to come as a thick blanket of fog settled over much of south-east Queensland. Visibility was down to 20 metres at Brisbane airport.
Moree passengers have also been affected by the fog, with the Qantas 2181 flight from Moree to Sydney currently delayed. Earlier this morning the Qantas 2180 flight departed Sydney at 9am, arriving in Moree’s airspace about 10.30am however the plane has been unable to land due to the heavy fog that is still hanging around.
