The children worked very hard in the weeks prior to create their masterpieces. The hats came in all shapes and sizes, with some students even accessorising with Easter baskets and masks to complete the look.
Well done to all students on their impressive Easter Hats!
In the end, there could be only one winner per class.
Chloe Gillogly took out the top prize for the years three to six class with Tyler Stolzenberg awarded the runner-up.
For the kindergarten and years one and two class, Audrey Cooper was the winner with Tori Cross named the runner-up.
The P & C held an Easter Raffle in the lead up to the parade. Families were asked to donate eggs, and prizes were constructed from the donations. Thank you to all families for your kind donations towards this raffle.
The raffle was drawn following the parade and the winners were: Emma Price, Kayla Langfield, Viv Fouracre, Toby Budden, the Cooper family, Tori Cross, Sharnah Tomlinson and Ruby Stewart, and Kristy McPherson picked up two prizes.
During the weeks leading up to the Easter Hat Parade, year six held an Easter Egg Guessing Competition. Students, staff, family and friends were all able to have a guess for $1.
The lucky winner of the delicious haul was Heather Langfield with a guess of 88 Easter Eggs.
The day concluded with an Easter Egg hunt around the school grounds. It was so great to see the older students helping the younger students find some eggs, with everyone going home a winner with plenty of chocolate!
