On Friday, November 17, the students were lucky enough to get a guided tour of Moree Police Station.
The highway patrol cars were a highlight as well as finding out all about the equipment required by police officers on a daily basis.
“We were also pleased to find out that there were many officers based in Moree to protect us from harm and we were particularly interested in the different modes of transport being used by our local police,” teacher Shelli Morse said.
“We would like to thank the staff at Moree Police Station for being so welcoming, especially Constable Aslin and Constable Shaw for informing us about the different roles within the police force.”
