About 130 agency representatives, drawn from rural and metropolitan bases ranging from western Queensland to Canberra and SA, celebrated some of the network’s top achievers.
Moree’s Ed Wisemantel, Karen Russell and Jason Humphries cleaned up the nation-wide awards dinner returning home with four awards between them.
Mr Wisemantel was named number nine salesperson for Ray White Rural, and if that wasn’t enough he also received a premier award.
He said it was “totally surprised” to end up in the top 10 salespeople nation-wide.
“I wouldn’t say gobsmacked but it was a very big surprise,” he said.
To even be considered for the premier award, Ray White Rural salespeople must complete at least 35 sales or reach an excess of $300,000 settle commission in a calendar year.
Mr Humphries was also a recipient of a premier award and was responsible for nominating Ms Russell for the Administrator of the Year award.
She was named runner up on the night.
“I outlined all the steps Karen had taken to improve herself and improve the quality of service to customers,” Mr Humphries said.
Ms Russell said she was “absolutely stoked” and believed the four awards showcased the high skill level of Ray White Rural Moree as a group.
“to have half of our team be recognised on a national level is such a great thing and really shows what we can offer Moree as a group,” she said.
Mr Humphries said his two peers were very deserving of the recognition.
“We usually do pretty well at the awards, but this year it has been great. I think there are a lot of benefits being part of a franchise, especially the access to training so we can provide good quality service.
“Karen and Ed have also work hard and been very diligent so it’s good to see they have been recognised for their efforts throughout the past financial year,” Mr Humphries said.
Ms Russell said as a group, Ray White Rural sell on average six properties every hour.
“That is one every 10 minutes. We are also the most Googled brand in Australia which really says a lot.”
