The year 11 student will be completing a Certificate II in Automotive Serving Technology through the New England Institute of TAFE in Moree, while gaining on-the-job experience working part-time for Theodore Landman at Mungindi Mechanical Repairs.
“We pride ourselves on being able to create these kind of opportunities for our students,” NBSA Coordinator Shelly Riddell. “They say it takes a village to raise a child and if it wasn’t for the support from the local businesses in town, such as Mungindi Mechanical, this would not have been possible. We value our strong relationship with the local community and TAFE New England and would like to thank them for their ongoing support.
“We would also like to congratulate Martin for his dedication to his studies and his enthusiasm in getting out in the workforce.”
