Montgomery has been in some strong form of late playing for Colts in the Moree and District Cricket Association competition with both bat and ball.
He has scored 211 runs across six innings with a top score of 91, while also taking eight wickets, including three games with two wickets, an impressive effort for a young player in a senior competition.
It's been a busy year for the young cricketer, after representing the Country Northern Sixers at the Under 14s State Challenge back in January, while also being named in the Cricket NSW Country Academy in May, along side brother older brother Jack.
Cricket isn't the only sport he succeeds at either, as he also earned selection in the Country NSW under-14s rugby squad.
Montgomery is one of three players selected from Central North, with Tamworth's Ben Livingstone and Zac Craig also selected.
The Male Under 15 State Challenge will be held on December 15 to 16 at the Blacktown International Sportspark.
