Brennan Cumberland and Patty Zou were given the opportunity to visit the university for a day, as part of the Life at Sydney event on October 1.
The year 11 students were able to experience what it would be like to be a student at the University of Sydney, from the academic to the social life.
They were each able to participate in two academic activities and a social club activity.
Brennan participated in a sound engineering class, followed by a mock trial, before taking part in the Gaius Gracchus club which is all about ancient history.
Meanwhile, Patty did science and art activities before having a go at the Taekwondo club.
Both students thoroughly enjoyed their experience and said the University of Sydney is now high on their list of options for post-graduate study.
"I wasn't quite sure where I wanted to go [to university]; I thought somewhere coastal or in the city," he said.
"[The University of Sydney] definitely does seem like a good option."
"It was a very good experience to get into the university and have a look around the environment," Patty added.
