The committee thanked everyone who went along and enjoyed the afternoon in the gorgeous grounds of B&W Rural - What better way to beat the drought blues, feast on delicious fare and revel in fantastic company.
The committee also gave a heartfelt thanks to sponsors The Manildra Group. "We are so thrilled to have an Australian family-owned agribusiness so invested in our community, both financially and emotionally. It's during challenging times such as these that community events become so important, providing much needed time out and reinvigorating the social fabric of our town. Little reminders of how fabulous our community is go a very long way. Thank you to The Manildra Group for not losing sight of this, and for sticking with us in good times and bad, Moree is very lucky to have you."
While the season has not been kind, the event was not about raffles, auctions or raising money, but a day genuinely for guests to relax and have fun.
Guests enjoyed a mouth-watering meal prepared by the clever Treen O'Brien of Relish Catering Narrabri including duck, smoked trout and pork belly to name just a few.
Diners were also treated to some stellar live entertainment by the Three Legged Pig Dogs enjoying a groove and a giggle.
