The trivia night will be the Suns’ first major fundraising event, with all money raised going straight back into the club.
“We’ve done a few barbecues and the canteen during home games and run a few raffles but this is the first big event the club has hosted,” trivia night organiser Emma O’Hern said.
“We’re only four years old as a club, so it’s hard to get people to know we’re around and support us. In country NSW AFL isn’t the most popular sport, so we’re trying to get our name out there.”

The theme is music, with all questions to be music-related, from the 80s to now, with a bit of country thrown in to suit everyone’s knowledge.
Teams are encouraged to dress in their best music get-up, as their favourite band, group or solo artist, with prizes for the best dressed team.
There will also be cash prizes for first, second and third-placed teams.
“It’ll be a bit of fun,” Ms O’Hern said.
The music trivia night will be held at 7pm on Saturday, August 11 at Moree Golf Club, where participants can enjoy a meal from the MaMa Chim Thai restaurant.
Cost is $60 per team, with a maximum of six people, which is payable on the night.
