AS Reconciliation Week turned into its third day at Moree on Wednesday, more than 50 lawn bowl enthusiasts headed to the Moree Services Club for the Reconciliation Games.

It is the second time the games have been held, since a successful debut last year.
Though, Reconciliation Games coordinator Raymond Dennison said this year came with a slight difference.

“Last year, we had an obstacle course set up on the oval behind the club. This year, we’ve decided to make it a lawn bowls game. The response has been fantastic,” he said.
The players were divided into teams of four, each one having to comprise of at least one Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal member and one female player.
Elaborate, Sisters Under the Skin-made hoodies and a $100 voucher from 61 Balo were some of the prizes up for grabs in the competition pool.
Needless to say, no matter the winner everyone went home with plenty of fond memories.
