The aim of the day is to create Moree's Blue Tree as a community by spreading paint together and facilitating meaningful discussions about mental health.
The mental health services in attendance on the day will be able to provide information to residences about where they can go to receive support, how to support a person struggling with a mental illness and strategies to improve mental health.

The tree is located near Moree Airport, north of the Puma fuel stop on the left of the Newell Highway. The public can enter the community paint day via Harry Sullivan Ave and park along Carmine Munro Ave.
All activities are being conducted under the requirements of the NSW Public Health Order and have social distancing measures in place.
For contact tracing purposes, and to ensure that total numbers of people are managed, residents are requested to pre-register their attendance for the event by emailing: Jacqui.moore@mpsc.nsw.gov.au or by calling Community Development on 6757 3222.
On arrival community members will be allocated a five-minute time slot to paint the tree and while waiting, be able to paint a message onto a river stone or chat with a mental health service.
