The Men's Shed presented Cancer Support social worker Jann Tuart with a cheque for $3,000 from funds raised at their annual Christmas stall.
The men hold a stall two days a week outside Commonwealth Bank from October to Christmas, where they sell handcrafted items and raffle tickets.
Now in its seventh year, Moree Men's Shed president Peter Sampson believes they have now raised more than $20,000.
"I have to thank all the people in the Men's Shed for all the work they have done, building wooden toys, tables, cupboards," Mr Sampson said.
"I want to acknowledge the council for giving us a permit for holding the stall for seven weeks.
"I thank the Commonwealth Bank for letting us hold the stall out the front of their store.
"I have to thank the people of Moree for their support. Without people buying the raffle tickets or toys, this wouldn't be possible.
The money raised will go towards cancer services and people in the oncology unit at Moree Hospital.
"We're incredibly grateful for the support and that we can give it straight back to the community," Ms Tuart said.
Ms Tuart was particularly grateful for the donation in the middle of some tough times.
"It just shows you how generous people are in Moree in the middle of the drought," she said.
"It's a very long association we've had with the Men's Shed and we're incredibly grateful for their support."
"We are thankful for Adam Marshall's contributions to have this shed, and we thank the state government for getting the funds to do this," Mr Sampson said.
