Two men have been injured, while a third is due to appear in court charged with multiple offences, following a stabbing in Boggabilla during the early hours of Saturday morning.

A physical altercation between three men occurred at a Merriwa Street address in Boggabilla at about 2am on Saturday, December 7.
During the altercation, two 22-year-old men were stabbed and suffered penetrating wounds to their upper bodies. One man sustained a punctured lung as a result of his wounds.
Both men were initially treated and stabilised at Goondiwindi Hospital before they were transferred to Toowoomba Hospital for further treatment. Both are currently in a stable condition.

Meanwhile New England police arrested a 20-year-old man from a Boggabilla address and a crime scene was established at the Merriwa Street premises where an examination was completed throughout Saturday.
The 20-year-old man had sustained some injuries during the incident and after he was arrested was taken to Goondiwindi Hospital where he remained under police guard.
He has since been put before Toowoomba Local Court where he was extradited back to NSW to appear at Moree Local Court on Monday or Tuesday, in relation to the recent incident, as well as offences dating back to October.
The 20-year-old is facing a number of charges in relation to an incident that occurred on October 6. These include reckless wounding in company, stalking/intimidation, robbery with an offensive weapon causing wounding, and threaten or cause injury to prevent apprehension by police.
Police expect he will also be charged with two counts of reckless wounding following Saturday's incident.
