Mr Bone travelled from his home in Kiama on the south coast to work with students as they revised their knowledge of the crime component of the course.
Mr Bone worked through past exam questions, syllabus terms, definitions and examples of cases and decisions that he has delivered, to assist students with their knowledge and understanding of the course content.
His long experience as a magistrate provided students with valuable information for their examination.
Mr Bone moved from Sydney to Inverell in 1985 to take up his position as the area magistrate.
His circuit at the time included Moree.
In 1998 he accepted the position as magistrate for the Moree Local Court.
Mr Bone left the north west area and completed stints as a magistrate in Ballina, Batemen's Bay and Queanbeyan before retiring in 2015.
