Police arrested and charged the man at Bankstown Police Station on Wednesday after he confessed to hunting on the Warrumbungles Way property.
The arrest follows reports to police from July 14 this year that stated a 71 year-old victim and her grandchildren were feeding their goats on the property when they saw a mob of her goats run up the hill towards her and the children.
It is then alleged the mob of goats was immediately followed by a volley of bullets.
The victim located three men who were trespassing on the victim’s property and approached them.
