Olivia is among a group of 66 finalists chosen from a total of 530 entries in the 2018 University of New England School Acquisitive Art Prize.
The University of New England School Accquisitive Art Prize (UNESAP) is held annually with the purpose of encouraging talented young artist in regional New South Wales.
Olivia’s artwork ‘Toil and Trouble’ was one of approximately 15 selected as a finalist in the junior division (years seven to nine).

St Philomena’s secondary visual arts teacher Deanne Battistuzzi said it’s a great achievement for Olivia’s work to be chosen.
“The selection committee commented that there was a wonderful diversity of art media and subject matter represented,” she said.
The Let’s Hang It exhibition, featuring all of the finalists artworks, will be on display at the New England Regional Art Museum (NERAM) from Friday, July 27 until August 12.
The exhibition opening and prize giving ceremony will be held at 6pm on Friday, July 27 at NERAM in Kentucky St, Armidale.
The four first prize-winning artworks will become part of the University of New England’s permanent art collection and will be on display throughout the University campus.
Ms Battistuzzi said the school wishes Olivia all the best.
