Along with another ten impressive young women, from all around NSW, Kate had the opportunity to have one on one discussions with mentors, Maisie Morrow, current The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl, and Anne Starr, a former showgirl, rural achiever and director of the Hereford Society, along with a showgirl judge for many years from Zone 5, Janette Coulter.
Polish Works director Adi Ritchie designed the retreat to cover all the criteria of the showgirl competition and to showcase our intelligent and strong young rural women.
Also covered were health, nutrition, fashion, speech making, makeup and general advice in grooming and presentation.
The girls were treated to gourmet food over the weekend plus excellent accommodation at Polish Works sponsor, the New England Motor Lodge, Glen Innes.
Adi and her Polish Works team, wish Kate all the very best at Zone 4 judging.
We also hope to see her on the stage as a finalist in The Land Sydney Royal Showgirl competition.
