Carpendale Commodities provide grain storage and handling, grain trading options, full GTA grain testing, grain drying, weighbridge, sealed storage, and the ability to grade and screen “out of spec” grain.
The expertise of this grain business in the supply chain creates opportunities for local grain producers, so exporters and end users are able to compete for grain into this facility.
Carpendale Commodities is 30 kilometres north of Goondiwindi, with direct frontage to the Gore Highway.
Its position allows a premium over other receival sites with respect to daily cash pricing, more competitive rates with respect to handling charges and warehousing, and most importantly for grain producers, flexible operating hours during the harvest season.
With sorghum in the ground and looking good, Carpendale Commodities owners Andrew and Helen Kluck are holding an open day at Carpendale Grain facility on December 20, from 4pm to 8pm.
“We are inviting existing clients and curious grain producers to tour the facility and meet the Carpendale Commodities team,” Mr Kluck said.
There will be representatives from other organisations, including the grains and fertiliser industries.
“For a bit of fun, we are holding a lucky gate prize, where one visitor on the day will have the chance to go for a quick flight in a helicopter, courtesy of Border Aviation Services.”
Carpendale Commodities looks forward to hosting this afternoon and the chance to show the industry its facility, and what it has to offer to the grain producers in this region.
