Nepal is the CWA country of study for 2017.
Students from the primary class had to research Nepal and produce a poster, while the infants class had a colouring-in competition to complete.
The posters and colouring-ins were passed onto the local CWA ladies for judging, where a winner was selected from each year group.
The winners were Andrew Stolzenberg, Flynn McPherson, Mac Morton, Jack Farr, Ruby Stewart, Angus McPherson and Charlie Kirkby.
These winning entries were then passed onto the Namoi Group of the CWA where they were judged against winning entries from other branches.
From this Charlie Kirkby received first place in Year 6, Angus McPherson secured third place for Year 5 and second place in Year 4 went to Ruby Stewart.
The local Bellata branch also awarded Highly Commended awards to Tori Cross, Anna Morton, Chloe Gillogly, Tyler Stolzenberg, Gordie Cooper and Thomas Roach.
