Administration of the Moree Thumbs Up Thumbs Down Facebook page revealed Mr Poulos’ free news sharing page received more than 210 votes; the highest number so far.
After the announcement Mr Poulos posted thanks to everyone who voted for the page.
“Our news and local events page is slowly gaining momentum and already boasts just over 5250 members and there’s room for plenty more,” he wrote.
Many comments were made praising the Facebook page.
“Congratulations Cindy and Billy. You both give so much to Moree, so it is most fitting that you have won this award! We all say thank you.
“From your news of the day, of your 'fur babies' to your wonderful coffee, served with a smile every time,” Julie Taylor wrote.
