The report put Fairview care practices under scrutiny, with pleasing results, and could assist in applications for ongoing government funding.
“The commitment of the staff and their efforts in attaining a perfect score of 44 standard outcomes from the review cannot be more highly commended," chairperson Joy Peachey said.
The accreditation process reviewed four management systems, namely staffing and organisational development, health and personal care, care recipient lifestyle and physical environment and safe systems.
The process is administered by the Australian Aged Care Quality Agency and carried out every three years to ensure residential aged care facilities meet the required government legislative standards.
