A 13-year-old male is in custody after he was identified as responsible for throwing rocks at a Moree residence.

Around 3.25pm yesterday (Sunday, July 20) four windows of a Tycannah Street home were smashed by a group of young persons.
The 13-year-old male was positively identified and located a short time later walking away from the area.
He was conveyed to Moree police station where he has been charged with destroy or damage property.
He remains in custody pending an appearance at Moree Children’s Court some time later today (Monday, July 21).
Community members and road users can assist police and help prevent further damage and injury/s by immediately reporting any rock throwing incident and suspicious behaviour near roads to police.
