Moree Plains Shire Council has made the decision to not to cancel Christmas at Twilight, which will this year be held from 5pm to 9pm on Friday, December 18 at Ron Harborne Oval.
Christmas at Twilight is an alcohol-free, family friendly event to celebrate the festive season and will include carols, stalls and a fireworks display.
Council has also received confirmation that a very important guest from the North Pole has gained a special COVID-19 exemption to attend the event, should his pre-Christmas schedule permit.
Local businesses, community groups and general stallholders are now being invited to participate in the annual event.
To confirm participation and reserve a spot for a stall, vendors must complete a registration form and submit this, along with a copy of public liability insurance and a COVID Safety Plan to council's community development team at council@mpsc.nsw.gov.au or via fax on (02) 6752 3934.
Forms must be submitted no later than Thursday, December 10.
