Saturday marked the end of the 2020 junior soccer season and the end of Ms Sharples' long association with the Moree club.
Ms Sharples has been a fixture of Moree Junior Soccer for the past 18 years, 14 of which she served as president.
She first joined the club's committee when her son played soccer as an eight-year-old.
And while her son only lasted one season, Ms Sharples stayed involved in the club, eventually becoming president - a role she kept for 14 years until she stepped down at the end of last season.

"Soccer was always my sport ... I had played when I was younger," she explained.
"I did love it. It was seeing the enjoyment on the kids faces when they were down here and all the parents."
Moree Junior Soccer Club committee member Nicole Scholl said Ms Sharples was the backbone of the club, and thanked her for her years of dedication to the sport.
"I've been involved with Terry-Anne in the last four years and I know how hard she has worked," she said.
"Terry-Anne dedicated a lot of her time to the club and when someone dedicates that much time they should be recognised.
"I'd like to personally thank you Terry-Anne. You've been amazing for the town and getting kids involved."
Alex Donaldson took over the role of president this year, and admitted he's got some big shoes to fill.
But he said this season went well, considering the challenges that COVID-19 brought.
"It's been a good season; everyone's followed the rules pretty well," he said.
Player numbers were down this year as a result of COVID-19, but in the height of Ms Sharples involvement in the club they were drawing more than 400 players each season.
Ms Sharples said registrations have dropped over the past four years, down to about 320, which she said is a sign of the times.
After taking a step back from the club this season, Ms Sharples said although she didn't know what to do with herself on a Saturday morning to start with, she's certainly now enjoying a sleep-in.
