With BAMM set to host the 2019 Archibald Prize and Young Archies regional tour next month, children are encouraged to bring along a family member or adult they admire to sit for them as they create their very own portrait in the BAMM garden on Saturday.
The completed portraits can then be submitted into BAMM's Young Archies Competition, with selected works to be displayed at BAMM alongside the nationally and internationally-recognised artists.
Entries for the Young Archies Competition are due on Friday, March 6.

Entries must be created from at least one live sitting between the artist and sitter, replicating the process of the Archibald Prize and encouraging artists to connect with and represent the personality of their sitter.
There are four age categories (five to eight-year-olds, nine to 12-year-olds, 13 to 15-year-olds and 16 to 18-year-olds) with cash prizes for each from ANZ Bank, the presenting partner of the Archibald Prize touring exhibition.
The competition is free for all ages to enter.
Judging will take place ahead of the official Young Archies opening on Thursday, March 26 from 4pm to 6pm.
The Young Archies Family Art Day will be held from 10am to 1pm this Saturday, February 29.
