The WJ's under-12s batted first against Inverell and were able to reach a score of 3-127 after their 20 overs.
Tom Vickery continued his great batting form, reaching 35 not out after the 20 overs. He was well supported by Jack Gobbert (18) and Will Stevenson (15).
Moree took to the field confident of defending their total, and managed to bowl out Inverell for just 33 runs.
Henry Hayes and Anna Lamey were the chief destroyers with three wickets apiece, with Kobi Annis-Brown adding one wicket in the 94-run victory.
The game also saw a monumental moment with both teams captained by girls - Anna Lamey doing a stellar job as Moree captain. This was such a special occasion with the huge rise in female participation in cricket.
The Chard Contracting under-14s lost the toss and were sent into bat on a wet wicket after some heavy rain on Saturday.
After the loss of an early wicket, Lachlan Muggleton and Fred Finlayson (35) took the score to 1-38 before Muggleton was dismissed after a hard-earned 14.
Two Inverell spinners then tied down the Moree batters through the middle overs which led to a middle order collapse which left Moree in a precarious position at 7-91.
James Fitzgerald, Lachie Warrener, Gilbert Tighe and Logan Mihill were able to steady the innings in the lower order, with Moree eventually bowled out for 133 in the 50th over.
Inverell then took to the crease to begin their run chase and had a solid 49-run opening stand before Mihill broke the partnership.
Os Van Velthuizen broke through shortly after to have Inverell at 2-58, but Moree were unable to take any more wickets as Inverell chased down the total in the 34th over.
Moree's top performers with the ball were Tighe, Finlayson, Mihill and Van Velthuizen.
The Moree team worked extremely hard in the field and kept the bowling tight in some very hot conditions.
The next round of games in the NICC cricket competition is in Narrabri this Sunday with the competition reverting back to the exciting twenty20 format.
