Joel James, aged 39, was last seen leaving a home on Carbeen Street, Moree at about 1.30pm on Friday, October 25.
Officers from New England Police District were notified on Saturday, October 26, after he did not return.
Joel has not been seen or heard from since and police have commenced inquiries to locate him.
Family and police are concerned for Joel's welfare as his disappearance is out of character and he suffers a medical condition that requires medication.
Joel is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 180cm tall, of medium build, bald, and with an arm tattoo.
He was last seen wearing a dark grey polo shirt and navy cargo shorts.
Joel may be travelling in a silver Nissan Pulsar with NSW registration 426-YOA.
